We’ve compiled a list of 5 Things to Do in Granbury This Fall for you. Take a look!
1. Revolver Brewing Saturday Brewery Tour Event
Granbury is home to Revolver Brewing, the micro brewery that is taking Texas by storm. Chances are, if you’re into beer you’ve heard of a few of their creations like Blood & Honey, Sidewinder, Ironhead IPA, or even High Brass. Regardless of whether you’re a fan or not, you should take notice of their weekly Saturday Brewery Tour Event. For just $10, this is what you get:

2. Evening Meals at The Local
Nothing screams Granbury like enjoying a meal outside with a cool evening breeze, friends, family, and of course, your pets! At The Local, you can do all of those things and on special evenings, you can even enjoy some live music. The food is amazing comfort food and it will definitely hit the spot.
The location is cozy and unique, but it’s outside, so make sure you come prepared for the weather. Gather up your friends and head on down to The Local – you won’t be disappointed! And, oh, it’s BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite liquid refreshments! They are open Thursday through Sunday, from 11 AM to 9 PM.

3. First Friday at Barking Rocks Winery
In addition to a brewery, Granbury also hosts an amazing local winery – Barking Rocks Winery. The winery sits on a historic ranch and the winery operations are hosted in many of the original structures. In fact, the wine is made in a stone barn. There are two ways to enjoy the hospitality of the winery: the First Friday monthly potluck and a weekly wine tasting on Saturdays.
First Friday is a truly Granbury-style event that happens on the first Friday of every month at Barking Rocks. Since around 2008, locals and visitors mix together by bringing food to share, potluck-style. You bring the food, and the winery provides the live music and will even open up a bottle for you if you’re so inclined (for a fee of course). This is truly an event that you don’t want to miss!
Every Saturday from 1 PM to 5 PM the winery opens it’s doors to allow folks to sample the wine and even buy a bottle or two. If you’re in to storytelling, this is the time to come and listen to the owners tell the story of how a winery was born in Granbury.

4. Roosters GuitarBQ Texas Style Catering
What do you do when your food is enjoyed by Man vs. Food legend Adam Richman? Uh, you parlay that into even more success as a caterer and restauranteur! Once upon a time, Adam Richman took Rooster’s 72-oz steak challenge – did he live to tell the tale? You can find out here.
Since then, Rooster has relocated to Granbury and not only does he host such outrageous events such as the “Testicle Festival” and “Catfish and Calf Fries,” but he also does a very mean plate of BBQ. Roosters GuitarBQ Texas Style Catering fires up the BBQ pit on Fridays from 5 PM to 10 PM and on Saturdays from 11 AM to 10 PM. For special events, make sure you follow their Facebook Page!

5. Granbury Ghosts and Legends Tour
Fall weather goes hand-in-hand with Halloween and spooky tales and ghost stories go hand-in-hand with Halloween. Put them together and you get the Granbury Ghosts and Legends Tour – probably the most popular tour in Granbury! Granbury’s tagline is “Where Texas History Lives” and with good reason: there’s a lot of history and a few legends that intersect with our small town.
Granbury Ghosts and Legends combines stories and locations of strange happenings around the Historic Granbury Square into an hour long walking tour for people of all ages. For $10 a person ($7 for children 12 and under), you can hear all about local legends like the Lady in Red, the Faceless Girl, and Indian Joe. The tour runs ever Saturday night at 7:00 PM and 9:15 PM.
