Part of Granbury History

Abe’s Landing isn’t just a name of one of the most popular real estate developments in Granbury, it’s also part of Granbury’s storied history. Abe Nutt was one of the Nutt brothers and also one of the first settlers in Hood County. Abe operated a ferry on the Brazos River and a large stone marks the original location of the ferry landing. Rumor has it that the deed of the property states that it must always be referred to as “Abe’s Landing,” thus the name!
